17th thru 21st July vokal.total.2017 – A week full of vocal craziness!

We have lots of new things going on! We have some details for you so that you know what is going on in this week. Join us from 17th until 21st at Dom im Berg Graz and many other locations. You can find an overview here.

Befor we go underground for a whole week we tank up our batteries with sunlight at our opening event called Marktschreierei (market yelling).

Although this is what sales people at a market usually do, no worries, no one is going to yell. We have plenty of microfones so you can hear our singers perfectly. This time this is going to happen at Lendplatz (!) in Graz. Three groups will open the show and afterwards the stage is open for anyone! Grab yourself a microfone and sing from your heart! Our friends from AIMS will also sing with about 30 singers.

Groups from Taiwan, Philippines, Italy, Georgia and many other nations will compete for the Ward Swingle Awards in the categories Jazz and Pop.

The first prizes will also get Euro 1.500 and an invitation to Taiwan. Our Partners from TCMC bring the winners to this beautiful island to have a concert tour. There will also be another Magenta Talent Trophy. magenta – the acappella agency supports newcomers with a coaching voucher worth Euro 1.500 and a concert in Germany. And the the winners of the 1st and 2nd prize also receive a wildcard for the Vocal Champs in Sendenhorst. Great, right? You want to participate with your group next year? Sign up now!

The Schlossberg will rumble due to the massive beats of our contestants on Thursday. A warm up show is going to happen on Wednesday 19th July at the City Beach Graz. Read more about the Beatbox Shootout here.

Yes, we are going to party three times, since no one really wants to go home after the adrenaline rush of a competition anyway.

On Wednesday, after the pop category, we party with DJs at Dom im Berg.

On Thursday, after the Beatbox Shootout, we move to orange and we will have a karaoke party. The best singer can win the first Woaz-Awardand Euro 100 (Woaz is a funny word, even for Austrians, meaning corn). There is no better way of finishing this week with groovy beats. After the Winners Concert on Friday the Beatboxers will match themselves one more time at PPC. You can find an overview of all parties in our Programm.

Hosted by the GrazMuseum (Sackstraße 18, Graz) we have an information point during the competition week. Daily from 10am until 5pm we have staff there to answer all your questions and this is where you also can pick up your tickets.
